Help Power Community Health Through Facilities Excellence<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Healthy Connections is a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 25+ year history of providing quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services across Arkansas. We\u2019re seeking a dependable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician<\/strong> to help us maintain clean, safe, and fully operational clinics that support our mission of delivering excellent care to the communities we serve.<\/p>\n

In this essential role, you\u2019ll be more than a \u201cfix-it\u201d person\u2014you\u2019ll be a key part of ensuring our patients and staff have the safe, well-functioning environment they deserve. From small repairs to facility-wide maintenance, you\u2019ll travel between locations in Western and Central Arkansas, solving problems, building things, and making a real impact every day.<\/p>\n

\n

What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Perform preventative and general maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Travel to various Healthy Connections clinics to inspect, repair, and maintain facility operations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Build and install furniture, shelving, partitions, or fixtures as requested.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support custodial needs as required\u2014floor care, disinfecting, trash removal, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Identify facility safety or equipment issues and resolve them quickly and efficiently.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain tools and inventory; track work completed through basic documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Collaborate with clinic management to meet daily facility needs and maintenance schedules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What You Bring<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • \n

      High school diploma or equivalent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      At least 2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, general repair, or a skilled trade.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in using basic tools and completing tasks involving HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Valid driver\u2019s license and reliable transportation to travel between sites.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
