Your Heroic Duties:

Patient Relations:

  • 340B Expert: Maintain knowledge of the 340B Pharmacy Program to assist patients.
  • Quality Crusader: Participate in quality improvement activities and help implement healthcare programs.
  • Community Connector: Build relationships with other departments and healthcare agencies.

Clinical Duties:

  • Screening Superstar: Conduct patient screenings, collect specimens, and perform routine procedures.
  • Lab Hero: Handle routine laboratory procedures when needed.
  • Emergency Responder: Provide emergency treatment while delivering covered services.
  • Patient Historian: Collect patient and family medical and behavioral health history.
  • Communication Pro: Identify and address specific communication needs due to hearing, vision, or cognition issues.

Administrative Duties:

  • Licensure Legend: Maintain required licensure and stay up-to-date with CEUs.
  • Record Keeper: Ensure all patient records meet the highest standards and maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • HCI Ambassador: Uphold HCI policies and contribute to a professional work environment.

Safety/Infection Control Activities:

  • Safety Sentinel: Adhere to safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Healthy Environment Advocate: Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
  • Healthcare Warrior: Handle moderate physical activity and follow safety precautions.
  • Bloodborne Pathogen Defender: Work with blood or blood-borne pathogens with OSHA training.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Hero: Hold LPN or Medical Assistant certification or have four years of supervised nursing experience.

Evolve Behavioral Health and Medication Management is seeking a behavioral health therapist (LCSWs, LPCs) for our expanding program in Arkansas.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Therapist works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the behavioral health management plan for patients. The Behavioral Health Therapist performs these functions in collaboration with and under supervision of a licensed physician in a primary health care setting.

 Patient Relations

  • To treat dental pain and infection.
  • To maintain quality dental care equal to or greater than the private sector.
  • To provide care and instruction to prevent tooth loss.
  • To provide preventive oral healthcare

Staff Relations/Team Building:

  • Participates in meetings and in-services given by the Center.
  • Helps to implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems such as Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Meaningful Use (MU), and other programs or objectives for HCI.
  • Supports and helps to achieve HCI’s clinical and business work plan in accordance with standards required to meet Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition and other programs or objectives for HCI.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with other departments, services, and community health care agencies to facilitate and support quality care.

Clinical Duties:

  • To provide basic dental services to as many people as possible.
  • To provide dental care in the form of:
  •  Extractions
  • Alveoplasty
  • Dentures
  • Denture repairs and relines
  • Fillings (composite and amalgam)
  • Periodontal Treatment
  • Endodontic Treatment
  • Crowns
  • Root canal therapy
  •  Perform his/her duties in accordance with the rules of ethics of the medical profession.
  • Perform his/her duties in accordance with the appropriate standard of care for his/her medical profession and specialty.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform individual emergency treatment while already providing or undertaking covered services.

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide instruction and direction to dental staff.
  • Conducts annual performance evaluations of all dental staff.
  • Maintains licensure and valid DEA license in good standing in the state of Arkansas.
  • Cooperates with the administration of the medical practice including but not limited to:
  • Maintaining medical records in a timely fashion;
  • Billing;
  • Peer Reviews;
  • Compliance programs.

  6. Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
  7. Ability to relate with effectiveness to patients and other providers of the community health center.
  8. CPR and ACLS training within 9 months of employment.
  9. Appointment to this position will be for the term of the grant supporting this position, so long as federal funds are available.
  10. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft office products, and familiarity with network systems.
  11. Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills necessary.
  12. Ability to travel to all locations and meetings outside of the service area.
  13. Ability to understand verbal communication and instruction, exchange verbal information, and present information verbally.
