What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventative and general maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

  • Travel to various Healthy Connections clinics to inspect, repair, and maintain facility operations.

  • Build and install furniture, shelving, partitions, or fixtures as requested.

  • Support custodial needs as required—floor care, disinfecting, trash removal, etc.

  • Identify facility safety or equipment issues and resolve them quickly and efficiently.

  • Maintain tools and inventory; track work completed through basic documentation.

  • Collaborate with clinic management to meet daily facility needs and maintenance schedules.


What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, general repair, or a skilled trade.

  • Proficiency in using basic tools and completing tasks involving HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between sites.

  • Collaborate with finance and program teams to track grant expenditures and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor federal, state, and private grant regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies for grant sustainability and expansion.
  • Travel locally, regionally, and nationally, as needed, to support grant-related efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Grant writing and administration experience required.
  • Experience working with federal grants (HRSA, State of Arkansas, etc.) preferred.
  • Degree in Business, Human Services, or a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and details effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and database management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft compelling grant proposals.
