Meet the Role

As the Business Communications and Marketing Specialist, you’ll be the creative force helping us tell the Healthy Connections story across Arkansas. You’ll create eye-catching designs, engaging social media campaigns, and powerful photo/video content to communicate our mission and services. You’ll also support events and outreach efforts, and ensure every piece of content reflects the heart of who we are.

This position may be based at any Healthy Connections clinic location in Arkansas, depending on available office space. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) role with a consistent schedule, but some evenings, weekends, and travel will be required.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, creative team that values smart ideas, fast execution, and a strong sense of purpose.


Where You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage and grow social media presence across all major platforms
  • Shoot and edit photo and video content for campaigns, events, and promotions

  • Represent the marketing team at internal and community events

Healthy Connections is looking for a Clinical Territory Lead to oversee training and development for clinical staff within an assigned territory. This leadership role is essential in ensuring our healthcare teams are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to provide exceptional patient care. This job can be primarily located at several clinic locations but it will require travel to all locations when necessary.

What You’ll Do:

  • Train and mentor clinical staff, ensuring competency in workflows, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement efforts to maintain high standards of care.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure clinics are staffed appropriately and operate efficiently.
  • Support the implementation of specialized services, patient safety measures, and clinical initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, providing guidance in program development, clinical best practices, and training needs.
  • Ensure compliance with CDC guidelines, infection control protocols, and organizational policies.
  • Lead staff education programs, including orientation, preceptor programs, and continuing education efforts.
  • Participate in nursing evaluations, accreditation activities, and community health initiatives.
  • Maintain oversight of the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program and other immunization programs as needed.
  • Fill in as provider nurse when required to support clinic operations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ability to travel between clinic locations for training, oversight, and leadership meetings.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize and make decisions independently.

Position: Healthcare Navigator

Location: Malvern Pinnacle or Hot Springs McAuley

As a Healthcare Navigator for the MAT Program, you will serve as a vital link between program participants and the resources they need to achieve successful treatment outcomes. Your role involves assisting individuals in accessing and navigating healthcare services, coordinating appointments, and providing essential information and support. You will evaluate participants’ ability to pay and help them enroll in insurance or Medicare coverage as needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to maintain composure in all situations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interview clients to obtain information necessary to determine eligibility.
  • Determine client needs and assistance eligibility for the approved sliding fee scale program by reviewing obtained information and screening potential applicants.
  • Make reasonable efforts to secure payment from patients for services while ensuring that no patient is denied services based on inability to pay.
  • Provide each applicant prescreened as potentially eligible for Medicaid coverage and refer to state workers as appropriate.
  • Referral of Medicaid-related issues to DHS.
  • Determine the scope/extent of available community resources and assist families in obtaining available services.
  • Coordinate information and documentation to ensure all facilities have access to current assessments for accurate discounts for clinical services for the underinsured or uninsured.
  • Participate in data compilation for financial and statistical reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of human services assistance programs and resources.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines in determining eligibility for assistance programs.
  • Ability to interview and obtain information.
  • Ability to prepare oral and written information and reports.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with Federal, State, and local agencies.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and familiarity with network systems.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills are necessary.
  • Ability to travel to all locations and to meetings outside of the service area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Credentialed with the Arkansas Department of Insurance.
  • Experience as an insurance assisted.
