Meet the Role

As a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) at Healthy Connections, you will deliver primary care that focuses on prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management across the lifespan. You’ll diagnose, treat, educate, and advocate—bringing your full clinical skills and compassion to every patient encounter.

As a Dental Hygienist with Healthy Connections, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients’ oral and overall health. You’ll provide high-quality, patient-focused preventive and therapeutic dental services while collaborating closely with our dental providers and care teams to ensure continuity of care across all services.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform patient assessments, including medical history reviews, dental and perio charting, and vital signs.
  • Deliver a full range of hygiene care, including cleanings, polishing, X-rays, local anesthesia, sealants, fluoride, and DSRP as appropriate.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with dentists and support team members to improve clinical processes and patient outcomes.

About the Role

As a Billing Specialist, you will play a vital role in our revenue cycle operations, assisting in billing insurance companies for physician services, pursuing claim collections, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Revenue Cycle Trainer and Billing Manager to enhance billing processes and achieve departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing third-party insurance for facility and professional services electronically and via hard copy.
  • Monitoring and following up on unpaid claims to ensure prompt payment.
  • Posting third-party insurance remittance vouchers and reviewing claims for accuracy.
  • Assisting patients with payment plans and resolving billing inquiries.
  • Maintaining compliance with HCI’s policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical code of conduct.
  • Supporting the organization’s goals related to Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and other initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in math, bookkeeping, and business is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in insurance billing, with knowledge of third-party billing requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with network systems.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications
